Our favorite sushi place!! – Delicious sushi! This is a great place to indulge in some awesome and fresh sushi! Their miso soup is amazing. Spicy tuna is a favorite, as is the scallop handroll, halibut sushi. Wasabi is sufficiently hot! Servers are very friendly and attentive. The place can get super busy though.

Love sushi here – I was a bit skeptical when i first went here but i must admit, Kabuki won me over. I've been back several times, at least 1-2 a month. They have really good albacore and halibut sushi. Not consistant is the tuna sushi, some days it's just ok and other times it was superb. It's a small place with a lot of regular returning customers and a friendly staff who knows you. We get there before 7 or the wait is way long. It's not a fancy place but it's the one of the better sushi restaurants in the valley.

UPDATE I do not go here anymore. In the last two years this place has done a HUGE 360. It lost some of its best staff and is just not consistant for the price. I do not mind high price food but the food and the service have to be consistant. A real shame. I actually do wonder if you where at the wrong location. There is a chain called Kabuki which is not related to the location on Reseda. The chain does lead a lot to be desired. However, the independently owned Kabuki located on Reseda in between Lassen and Plumber is wonder... read more

are the other reviews a joke? this place is horrible. – Maybe I was at a different Kabuki than everyone else...? haha no, I was not. My experience was horrible. I went there today (Thursday) after having read good reviews online. This is a warning - stay far away from this restaurant! The service was excellent. I'll start off with that. They attended to me well. But the sushi was just terrible. Whenever I go to a new place, I get a rainbow roll, an eel roll, and amaebi (sweet shrimp). This is because these orders are hard to... read more

Kabuki tops valley's sushi – Kabuki sushi is undeniably the best place around the area. The service is unbelievable! The enviorment is so familiar since there are so many loyal customers that come by weekly, some since it opened 23 years ago! But theres no question why. The sushi is delicious and most affordable. Some of my favorite plates are only signature to Kabuki and i refuse to go anywhere else. The place isnt good for large groups and it may not be the most ambient restaurant but the food compensates for it. I love th... read more

Expecting more! – Cut rolls were a bit clumsy, the Eel was a bit on the skimpy side and expensive for a place so out the way. Air con was drafty but the flavours were pretty good. I wont be going back though too many other options.

good sushi.. – I like Kabuki. Ive been going here since i was in college in CSUN. Very consistent menu and the fish is good. Large selection of sushi in the new creative styles rolls...and i am glad that after all these years their sushi has maintained the quality. It is definitely above average sushi..and the rolls are great. Price is also reasonable. The only thing i was disappointed about Kabuki is sometimes they dont carry the not-so common sushi like Toro, Kampachi, Ankimo, Uni, Seki Saba...etc. They chose to go the les... read more
