Kabuki The sushi is nothing special, just a regular sushi place. Happy hour prices are really great but the selection is very limitted.

Kabuki Sushi is Blah I live very close to Kabuki and had big dreams a great sushi restaurant within walking distance. The recommendations I got from friends suggested my dream just might come true...not so much! The staff has a tendency to ignore you when you enter the restaurant and act a bit snobby. The service is very slow unless you sit at the sushi bar. The food is ok...a little lacking in the flavor department. Even the rolls are dry and bland. Good sushi Kabuki is a small restaurant in Northridge that gets fairly busy because of its good food. The sushi menu is big. My favorites are the chicken katsu and the tempura, yum! The prices are very reasonable too.
Kabuki Kabuki is a small restaurant on Reseda Boulevard that can get fairly busy. I recommend that you call for reservations before you go unless you go early. It's not fancy but they do have good service and good food. They have one of the best BSC! I also love their clam soup that is out of this world. Prices are reasonable too. I never have been disappointed and I have been going here for over 10 years.
Our favorite sushi place!! – Delicious sushi! This is a great place to indulge in some awesome and fresh sushi! Their miso soup is amazing. Spicy tuna is a favorite, as is the scallop handroll, halibut sushi. Wasabi is sufficiently hot! Servers are very friendly and attentive. The place can get super busy though.
Love sushi here – I was a bit skeptical when i first went here but i must admit, Kabuki won me over. I've been back several times, at least 1-2 a month. They have really good albacore and halibut sushi. Not consistant is the tuna sushi, some days it's just ok and other times it was superb. It's a small place with a lot of regular returning customers and a friendly staff who knows you. We get there before 7 or the wait is way long. It's not a fancy place but it's the one of the better sushi restaurants in the valley.
UPDATE I do not go here anymore. In the last two years this place has done a HUGE 360. It lost some of its best staff and is just not consistant for the price. I do not mind high price food but the food and the service have to be consistant. A real shame. I actually do wonder if you where at the wrong location. There is a chain called Kabuki which is not related to the location on Reseda. The chain does lead a lot to be desired. However, the independently owned Kabuki located on Reseda in between Lassen and Plumber is wonder... read more

I went there today (Thursday) after having read good reviews online. This is a warning - stay far away from this restaurant! The service was excellent. I'll start off with that.
