Today ended a long term test. I was curious. I installed a K&N air filter in my new 2006 Chevrolet pickup 4.3 V6 automatic trans. at around the 12K mileage mark when I did a oil change. Today it set a Mass Air Flow sensor code.... dirty air filter, at 115,715 was the mileage. I never serviced the air filter the entire duration. 103K miles was still getting 19-20 mpg hwy as it did new. They were rated at 19mpg,unloaded. Engine does not use or burn oil. I have a K&N air tube kit with heat shield and I use K&N oil filter the air kit gave me a lot better MPG and power I install them on everything I own the oil filter allows me to extend the oil change duration useing a good synthetic oil paired with it no complaints great product great service recommend anyone
Cai for my 07 Silverado did not provide any hp or mpg gains. Never noticed a thing so i reached out to k&n and got a blanket statement as to why i never noticed even the slightest benefit with my product. It looks better than stock and is a lifetime filter. Good there never increased my throttle response or mpg even the slightest. Will buy my performance products elsewhere from now on. I gave the product and customer service a chance and was less than impressed.

Air filter has been great in my car got it 2 years ago, needs either reoiled or a new one as it is getting older. Just bought a oil filter for my car are they gonna be okay for my car? Been seeing some bad reviews but there's some good ones.
So I just got the filter for my 2013 impala with the 3.6 engine, and man could I feel a difference performance wise, I can only imagine how a full cold air system would feel on it, kuddos k&n
Easy install on 09 duramax! Whole engine sounds better and runs substantially better. Overnight shipping was outstanding from Cali to Montana. Ordered at 1030 AM and had it installed by 11 AM the next day. Great buy
