Not at all impressed with the 57-2575 expedition intake system. Poorly designed and extremely loud! The cheap sheet metal air box that utilizes the lower part of the factory air box is a joke. Not only is it flimsy but it has a huge gap around the air tube and the under hood, the seal that comes with it does nothing. I had to buy the filter wrap and wrap the air tube with exhaust wrap to make it less obnoxious. I lost fuel mileage, didn’t gain any power, but did gain throttle response. NOT WORTH $300! I've used your filters for years now. I recently had to use your warranty on my HD-1717, you guys rock, easy process and quick replacement. I'll continue not just because your filters are awesome, but also because you stand behind them too!
I love there products. If you have a vehicle that you're gonna keep a long time, (or keeping in the family forever, like mine) it's so much smarter to use their filters!
Ordered one specifically for my truck said no tune required. After install and test run i felt a loss of hp and my computer said i lost 3 mpg. so i kept it in for about 3 months to see if it might improve but actually got worse. Started to hear a rattling noise in 4th gear like it was running lean. I took it out immediately and it stopped. I contact K&N and they say it's my truck's fault which had only 10,000 miles on it at the time. Or that i installed it wrong which is bs i double checked everything. I drive a 2007 Chevy Colorado with a 2.9L. Just went from a cheap air filter to a replacement K&N filter and drove 239km (148 miles) on 1/4 tank of fuel, it used to be 1/2 a tank for the exact same drive.
Anytime I had ever had an issue customer service is top notch, they will take care of you, excellent company to buy from, no questions asked they will cover anything that bothers you, thank you for being such a wonderful company to deal with
over the past 10 years I have used K&N filters and they are great added performance clean smooth throttle and wash it And re oil it when it gets dirty it is truly an excellent filter Now That I Found the online store I can buy extra oil because what comes in the kit is a tiny little thing this is so awesome I recommend K&N to everyone that wants better performance.
