I would not recommend Dr. Holly Gallivan!! She was extremely unprofessional – showed up more than 30 minutes late to both appointments without an apology or even so much as saying hello. Very cold and unfriendly. Also changes her story quite often. I was told 2 entirely different scenarios at the 1st consult & the 2nd consult. She was disrespectful of my time and her poor attitude made me feel dismissed. Terrible at communication & lacks transparency. Would recommend going elsewhere for ENT needs!
Dr. Gallivan and her team are wonderful. I came to her after my eardrum perforated. Based on a standard questionnaire the office gave me, she asked me questions about another issue I had been having. She then used that info to help diagnose the issue, which is something no other doctor had been able to do for years. She also handled my daughter's ear tube surgery flawlessy. I'll follow this doctor anywhere.
All I can say for the past 20 years or more whenever I have a problem or a situation, I go to Dr. Gallivan. She has never ever failed to provide me with the solution. As long as you follow her directions, you will be happy with the results and if not at the very least the effort. Can not say more! I wish all my medical providers were as knowledgeable, kind and attentive as she is.
If I could give my visit with her a zero, I would. She was condescending and rude to the point of I just about walked out of her appointment. This “provider”has many excellent reviews and I would love to know how? She lectured me about vaccines and that she had a MPH and knows better than me, a patient. Did not listen to me and basically gaslit me afterwards with promises to get me into Boston for testing. I left messages for notes from our visit and no one EVER returned my phone call. I had my sinus surgery with Dr Gallivan years ago. I won't give details just say that she is the most unprofessional doctor I've met in my life. Make sure to get a second opinion, ideally from an ENT working for a reputable hospital. BTW, the most known ENTs in the Boston area barely have any Google reviews. Do not choose a doctor based on positive online reviews. Especially not a surgeon.
