If you want a doctor that is the expert, go to Dr. Thampe. He stabilized blood sugar readings that had been absolutely erratic for years. When my mom was in the hospital he actually showed up and monitored. He even has a great personality, although the doctor's office is not a popularity contest. I accompanied my daughter to her visit with Dr. Thampy. His office has a picture on the receptionist's desk of Kim Jung Un wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat. I couldn't decide what to make of this until we talked to Dr. Thampey. He berated my daughter for her career choice of immigration attorney saying something about America having "open borders". His whole demeanor was absolutely unprofessional. He interrupted my daughter several times, did not listen to her and argued with her
Good Dr. Make sure you have at least an hour to wait before you see him. I had a 9am appointment, I left at 10:15 still had not seen the Dr. Will not be back.
This is a brilliant Dr. That treats his patients like he would his own family. He has been my Dr for over a decade.
His wait time is horrible.His office management are worst. I would not refer anyone to him.
There is good reason this doc has a 2 star rating, he is a complete waste of your time. Hour long wait time, won't give any information without an office visit, not helpful in laying out a plan of treatment. Unless you are desperate and have a LOT of time on your hands please do yourself a favor and keep looking.
Been with Dr. Thampy around 20 years now. He is the best Dr. I have ever been to. Dr. Thampy is very compassionate Dr. I have ever seen. He really cares for his patients and works hard to get you better but remember you also have to do your part. Do what he tells you to do and you will be better. Dr. Thampy Mrs. Thampy and all his staff are very sweet. My favorite Doctor of all time.
Forced to pick one star otherwise I would not pick one. I know people that work for him and per them his mood is what guides him. Very poor pt care. I went to this doctor unfortunately and he didn't say a thing. Except do you smoke, I stated no then he asked me to leave. I had to go get copies of my chart years later because I still wasn't feeling well. After reviewing my records from his office. I found out I had cancer. Terrible office management. Long waits past appointment times (anywhere from 1-2 hrs after scheduled appointment). Dr Thampy has terrible bed-side manner. Do not recommend.
