Could have been cleaner. Seemed more like it was the neighborhood bar than a public restaurant.
Delicious food and the waitress was very patient with my big family! We will be going back next time we visit Rockport again!
Holy bum! What a turn around from two years ago. The service was great, the people were really friendly. I ordered the chicken fried steak, garlic mashed potatoes and the salad bar. The chicken fried steak was definitely freshly made. I could cut it with a fork, very tender. Garlic mashed potatoes were great and of course the salad and soup bar was super. Place was not busy. No hostess but she come relatively quickly. After being seared and after 10 minutes we left as no one come our table at all. A couple of what I assume were waitstaff were hard at work rolling silverware. Went down the street and enjoyed Cattle Barron's.
Seated immediately and our request for a booth was accommodated even though the restaurant was pretty full. Drink orders taken immediately and dinner order taken a few minutes later when the drinks were served. Salad bar had a lot of options and the manager asked for input on what to add. Walked in & stood around while waitresses just stared at us while they walked around. Should have just walked out then. When we finally got seated we waited an hour for our food. My husband got a chicken fried steak & I got a burger.. My burger was completely wrong when it finally came out. Kids meals (chicken strips & Mac & cheese) didn't come with what the menu stated & when we asked the waitress for the rest of their orders she said "oh. Well do you still want that??" Terrible service, waited for an hour and never got our food. Will not be going back!!
We were very disappointed tonight. Waitress was not attentive. 3 of the 5 plates we ordered were incorrect. One of which was a kids burger. The patty came out looking like a golf ball. Not kidding.. The manager came to our table and all he did was make excuses..I will say he took the kids meal off.. Yeah that'll bring me back.. Uh no!!
Never got waited on. Only people in there eating. Two people in the bar. Worst service ever
