Dr. Newman's strives to use the most current and cutting-edge techniques to get his patients back to sports or work as quickly as possible. He is a conservative surgeon, and will only recommend surgery for those cases that truly require surgery. He is adept at many non-operative treatments, including PRP (platelet rich plasma), injections, and specific physical therapy plans that can often avoid the need for surgery. When surgery is required, he uses the most up-to-date and minimally invasive treatment options. He invests si... read more

Highly recommend. From the front desk staff doing scheduling, record requests and insurance, to the medical assistants, PA and Dr Newman, could not have asked for better service. All treatment was above reproach. Scars are barely visible just 10 months post op, full range of motion and zero limitations. If I ever need another consult for orthopedics, I will insist it is with Dr Newman and his team!
Dr. Newman was fantastic. He made sure I was smart with my recovery and constantly checked in to make sure I was okay before and after my shoulder surgery.
Dr. Newman and his staff were incredible. They were very compassionate and caring and made sure I got the best possible treatment. They explained everything so that I could understand it and made sure I was getting the best care. Before and after surgery and my healing process went extremely well and they made sure I was taking all the correct steps to get back where I needed to be!
Dr Newman is rare and few. His compassionate care and ability to listen is a lost art in the medical profession. You will not find ego and pride with this Dr. He is very knowledgeable and will spend the time needed to answer all you questions.
I’ve been seeing Dr Newman for a couple years and both him and his PA are the best. My wait time is never too long and he spends a lot of time explaining things to me and helping create the best treatment plan. He has not rushed to recommend surgery even though I’m dealing with a torn ACL. I especially love that he’s an athlete himself so he’s very considerate of my activities. I had a collarbone plate in (from another surgeon) and it was really bothering me, Dr Newman removed it and I was barely out of commission a day or s... read more
I really liked him and respected his analysis. He didn't rush me. He took his time listening and he took X-Rays at that first appointment.
Very knowledgeable, speaks softly and clearly, and discusses the right treatment for you instead of pushing you in one direction
1st visit, impressed, didn't rush, had great eye contact, explained what he saw on the x-rays and put together a plan.
I appreciated the fact that Dr. Newman took his time and isn't one that rushes into surgery. He takes baby steps in treatment. I would recommend him to anyone. Yes, his bedside manner is also commendable. Thank you Dr. Newman
