Came in for knee pain opinion. Got right in and within minutes had x-rays taken and was undergoing the exam by Dr. Newman. We discussed causes and treatment options before determining our course of action. He did a terrific job and I highly recommend him.

I have had occassion to see many orthopedics over my life and Dr. Newman is one of the best! He is knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. He was able to explain things thoroughly without ever making me feel talked down to or like i was just another joint in his day; he made me feel listened to and heard. (The whole OCC staff as wonderful). Though I hope no one needs his services, if you are in need of them - He is definitely the doctor you've been searching for!
Advanced orthopedics was the second surgeon I went to see for my torn ACL. I ultimately ended up going with Dr. Newman because he actually took the time to explain my options for acl surgery and encouraged questions. He also did his own exam instead of relying on the imaging from urgent care. I'm now a year out of surgery and am back to bouldering, snowboarding, running and mountain biking.
My appointment was professional and truthful. Dr. Newman was upfront and honest regarding my diagnosis. Presented me with various treatment options, was honest in his opinion as to what he thought the best course of treatment was. I appreciated the direct, honest discussion and not being steered toward high cost treatments that were not warranted. I will use Dr Newman again should I have any other arm injuries.
Dr Newman and Andy, PA are both amazing. They have excellent bedside manner. They explained in detail what was going on with my hip and patiently answered all my questions. I’m so glad I decided to do surgery with them. Their team is very responsive to patient’s needs and thorough.
Dr. Newman is an outstanding doctor and very well spoken. He broke down every aspect of the injury I am currently dealing with into understandable and relatable terms in order for me to completely visualize the scope of its severity and the steps he would suggest taking to improve my quality of life moving forward.
