This hip little restaurant and brewpub has taken post-modernism to the extreme by adopting an original, if not heretical, approach to its décor. Inside you will find pews, fixtures, and other bits and pieces from a local Berkeley church. But sit back, relax, and enjoy one of its three dozen beers on tap, and nibble on gourmet sandwiches like roast chicken, and mozzarella and basil, as well as freshly baked pizzas. Local bands are featured on Thursday through Saturday nights.

This. Place. Is. Awesome! Atmosphere in the beirgarten is great! Had a couple beers and the garlic cheese bread but the pizzas looked really good. Would be great to get back there again.
Very tasty pizza! Nice gooey cheese, chewy crust, crisp pepperoni. Friendly waitstaff. Pleasant outdoor dining ambience.

Great beer and decent pub food. The pizzas are good but there are other things besides that are excellent of pizza isn't your thing. The patio is nice but the dog policy seems inconsistently applied. Took my well behaved mutt a half dozen times before being told only service animals were allowed. Given the presence of a small yipping dog that was clearly not a service animal, I wasn't sure what to make of the situation. Anyway, will probably be back.
WE LOVE JUPITER! About 3 years ago we stumbled upon Jupiter late at night. It was love at first sight, the atmosphere is inviting and everything about it is Just Right. We visit Berkeley a few times a year and every time we make sure to stop by; sometimes twice in one day just because we don't come often enough. We always order the garlic wings, garlic cheese bread, the Aries pizza and cider/beer and it's always amazing! Thank you and keep doing what your doing don't ever change a thing
My first time there blew me away and I still feel that way every time. Food, atmosphere, Staff. Definitely 5 Stars
Don't forget about Stephanie! She's amazing. And the food was good too. Had to add that because the review wasn't long enough. But it really was good
Great Shish Kabobs... Great Dark Beer ! Great Band's on the weekends !
Porter and Galileo are to die for! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat :)
