This hip little restaurant and brewpub has taken post-modernism to the extreme by adopting an original, if not heretical, approach to its décor. Inside you will find pews, fixtures, and other bits and pieces from a local Berkeley church. But sit back, relax, and enjoy one of its three dozen beers on tap, and nibble on gourmet sandwiches like roast chicken, and mozzarella and basil, as well as freshly baked pizzas. Local bands are featured on Thursday through Saturday nights.

Great Ambiance. Nice beer selection. The weather was perfect for dining outdoors. Very romantic. The riblets and the fondue were delish! And the salads run huge- so a small is a good size for one. �

Great place to have dinner before for a show. They offer vegan cheese now!!! � Great beer selection and so close to BART and several venues. Friendly helpful staff...I say yes!

Love the patio with the fire/water feature. We tried 3 different appetizers, and all were great. We tired a local craft beer and guest beer. We will come back for sure., Great service also and that was over parents weekend at UC Berkeley.
Jupiter came highly recommended to us so we were quite excited, however our excitement turned to disappointment. We sat very patiently for 30 minutes our server never came to take a drink order. My husband bought multiple drinks and every single time went to the bar because no one ever came. I got up three times to ask for a Cesar salad. Live music was awesome. Place was packed (Saturday night). Wait time was realistic. Server was awesome. Drink and food selection was nice. Food was good. Minus 1 star for the Women's bathroom stalls being a tight fit (and I'm not a big girl), and no waiting area, especially for large parties. I also wish they'd take reservations for Fridays and Saturdays too, and offered the outside tables instead of it being free seating.
