LOVE Jumbo House!!!!! YUM!!!
Jumbo House serves a real American burger! Fresh ingredients, hand patted patties, and great southern hospitality.
Burgers, salad, chicken, fish, it's all good...
I haven’t eaten at Jumbo House in years, but had a craving for a really good burger, remembered how people constantly rave about this food. Waited 10 minutes or more to get my food and couldn’t wait to eat it. The well-done onion rings were barely warm and the hamburger was almost cold. Also tasteless. Needed salt ... very thin patty like McDonalds. There was mayo on my burger and I specifically said no mayo. Also health inspection food score not visible.
Their two largest cheeseburgers are the stuff of legend. On my second trip, 12.18.19, my 12 ounce cheeseburger was brought to my table HOT off the grill. The Onion rings were average at best, lacked spice and proper breading, can be improved. But the burgers alone are worth the trip.
I really love and appreciate that there’s still a very good classic restaurant left to be appreciated by all ages and everyone that eat here is well satisfied and the food is cooked fresh not under a heat lamp for hours Jumbo House is the last original hamburger restaurant in Columbia Tn 38401 give them a call if you’re able to come by you will be glad you did
