Do NOT buy a Mazda in Alabama! Mazda excludes Alabama from its safety recalls. Mazda issued a recall admitting a defect in my VIN that can cause loss of steering control and a serious crash risk. My vehicle was excluded only because of where the car was purchased and registered when the recall was issued. I owned the car from new and kept up with all maintenance.
