Julie has consistently provided a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where I have felt comfortable discussing difficult topics and working toward personal growth. As a first-time mom, I have faced challenges with both mental health and parenting, and Julie has provided support throughout that journey. She has shared personal strategies and helpful suggestions that I am able to apply in my life. I’ve never had any issues with scheduling an appointment and I truly am grateful for her as my therapist.

As a young trans person, finding a mental health professional was challenging. Luckily, with the help of a previous provider I was referred to Julie Newsome. At first, I was nervous, but I’m glad I took that initial step for my betterment. Julie is a true ally, she welcomed me free from bias and was knowledgeable on the trials and tribulations I have faced as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Julie is one of the only therapists I’ve been able to actually open up to. She’s always helping me put things into perspective and helping me set and achieve new goals for myself. I appreciate Julie so much for so many reasons. I have developed a great trust with Julie just doing phone sessions, if that doesn’t tell you how welcoming she is I don’t know what will!
