Julie Owens is a fantastic provider! I am a therapist and often refer my clients to her, particularly when they need someone that isn't in a hurry and really listens. She's also so damn good at what she does. I know because my clients who work with her are very happy! I can't recommend her highly enough!
She has raving reviews. I have never had the good fortune to have her for therapist as you have to be computer literate to make an appointment with her. Don’t bother trying to make an appointment over The phone. As far as I’m concerned, she deserves no stars, but I’m going to go ahead and give her five just so that I don’t damage her wonderful reputation. I found her to be pretty obnoxious and rude.
I can't say enough positive things about Julie. Not only does she really listen and make treatment a collaborative effort - but she does not stop trying. I always leave my appointments feeling like things will get better. She really puts her focus and attention on finding solutions and understanding where you are coming from. Many providers treat mentally ill patients like children - you take this - and that's the end of it. So often they look at your diagnosis and give cookie cutter treatments.
