RecommendedI have known Dr Julie for many years as a friend and fellow Rotarian. But today I "saw" another side of her for my very first eye exam. Wow! Dr Julie was very professional, confident and truly fun to work with and I learned a lot. Highly recommend her and the whole staff.
I have been wearing contacts for 30 years, and have been to many different Optometrists over the years to renew my prescription. Julie Gussenhoven is easily one of the best I have been to, not just because of the great staff and modern equipment, but mainly because she takes her time to make sure everything is just perfect, the appointment is never rushed. ordered contacts from office, as usual I had to call to see if they were in. They were, but I have to make another appointment to be fitted properly, next appointment 1 month out. So the contacts that I ordered are in, and paid for, but I don't get them for a month. I told the office I have no other contacts or glasses with the new prescription, was told nothing they can do, put on cancellation list, otherwise see you in a month, sorry

Dr. Gussenhoven and her staff manage to make the experience fun AND professional. I waited less than five minutes and had a very thorough eye exam. The opticians were helpful and listened to what I wanted and made sure I stayed within my budget.
Julie made my daughter feel so comfortable getting contacts for the first time. She made the scary process fun and educational for Mya. This was our first time here.
