It all began here in PeWee Valley in 1994 with a simple dream for Donna and me: serve our friends and neighbors the BEST hickory smoked Texas Style Barbeque east of the Mississippi. Like the barbeque we had when we were growing up in Texas. We use the very best certified Angus Beef, hand rubbed with our secret spices and slow smoked with hickory for 16 hours. Very good BBQ! Look forward to my next visit. The atmosphere is very unique and gives you the old smoke house feel.
Great BBQ, I was excites with everything. I had the pulled pork, pinto beans, and green beans. I would tell anyone to come here.
I ate two bites of a brisket sandwich. I only ate the second bite because I couldn't believe how nasty it was. The meat was cold in spots like they had taken some out of the fridge and mixed in with some that was slightly warm. Then there was the extreme greasiness of the meat. I ate a bit of slaw and cobbler but they couldn't erase the nasty taste from the "meat." I don't know what has happened to this place. I have eaten there for many years but I don't think I will ever get over this experience.

Best barbecue next to my brothers!!! The chicken was unbelievable! Full of flavor. No need for sauce. John had the corn bread and said it was delicious. We sampled the green beans-great! The potato salad-great! The Coke slaw needed flavor. Hey the barbecue is so worth it!!!!!
I had the pork sandwich with Mac and cheese, potato salad, corn bread, and cherry cobbler. I have had lots of barbecue from all over and I can say this was delish. And was very affordable. Will be returning back very soon.
Brisket was delicious, did not care for pinto beans and spicy patatos. Service was good.
