It all began here in PeWee Valley in 1994 with a simple dream for Donna and me: serve our friends and neighbors the BEST hickory smoked Texas Style Barbeque east of the Mississippi. Like the barbeque we had when we were growing up in Texas. We use the very best certified Angus Beef, hand rubbed with our secret spices and slow smoked with hickory for 16 hours. The food (we both had pork BBQ sandwiches, fried potatoes and green beans) was very good. My only complaint is they do not have dill pickles (they have bread-n-butter pickles, but seriously, they need to start carrying dill pickles). Service was friendly and the place was very clean.
Honestly, I'd heard of Jucy's, figured it must be good, but being a Hoosier I didn't figure it was worth the trip all the way downtown, through traffic and then about "half way to Cincinnati".....(seems like)..... since the new Lewis and Clark bridge we made the 15 min trip. It was very good food, atmosphere was "fun rustic" and service was friendly! Price would have been right if sides would have been a little more generous. DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK, IT IS WORTH THE TRIP.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the BBQ was amazing, And the cobbler was to die for. We will definitely be back in the near future!

A Good feel place. They have just what a BBQ spot needs to have: meat and sides. The cronbread muffin was great too.
