Best Little Salon in SF – Being a person who is afraid of salons like most people are afraid of hospitals, I feel oddly at home at Jubilee's at 1555 California Ave. Jubilee herself is a great listener, stylist, hostess, and colorist. The terrible things (fried hair, ugly haircut, painful scalp incidents in the sink) that can happen at other, pricier salons have NEVER happened to me at Jubilee's. My Hair's Soul Mate – I am 31 years old. Jubilee is the only stylist who has ever made me 100% pleased with a haircut. She is the only stylist I would recommend to anyone for anything. Jubilee is the rare, maybe even unique, stylist that has great skill, great communication and a great personality. Can't say enough. If you want to look good and have a pleasant experience, then get your hair done by Jubilee.
A very satisfied customer... – All I can say is, I'm very happy with the colour, highlights and cut I recieved from Emily. It's the brilliance of the cut! – I have been going to Jubilee for years, since before she opened her own salon. Disappointing – I felt compelled to write a review of this salon, since I booked an appointment based on the good reviews here. Unfortunately I did not find the experience positive. The initial consultation went well and I felt confident. Alas my haircut and color did not go as planned. The color was not what I explicitly asked for; although the stylist tried to correct her error I was left with dry, damaged hair as a result of over-processing. Great Place!! – I loved this place!! I don't know why a lot of stylists find it hard to do a softly layered cut, I found it hard to find a new salon to go to after my stylist moved out of town. But he stylist, Krissi, was very attentive and skilled. That apmosphere was serene and welcoming. I am more pleased with my haircut than ever. I suggest Krissi or Jubilee herself. Worth every penny!!
I can be anyone with Jubilee!!!!! – Hi, As a stunt action double for some of the biggest names in showbiz, its important that my look resemble those who I take a hit for, a karate chop to the neck, that sort of thing.
