Had total knee replacement. After 3 operations on the same knee, my kneecap won't stay in position. Knee is significantly worse than before the first operation.
My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Frisancho for over a decade, with that said we are very satisfied with his professionalism and care that we receive. Reviewers above site problems with the office, but I haven't had any issues with his office through all the changes in the past decade.
Dr Frisancho is a wonderful surgeon. I had my both hip replacements and wrist surgery by him. He is a kind, nice and caring person. He explains everything, listens and answers your questions. THANK YOU DR. FRISANCHO ????
I waited over 2 hours to see the doctor, staff is rude. Staff or doctor don't care that you had to wait that long. So unprofessional.. I have never waited 2 hours to see a doctor. Warning don't go here!!!!!!
Dr. Frisancho just performed a full hip replacement on me. I am 13 days past the surgery and walking without a cane. He did an excellent job. He is an amazing surgeon. He is brilliant, skilled, and extremely well credentialed. He answered all of my questions, was patient and very easy to talk with. I recommended him 100 percent. I will never use any one else for orthopedic care. He truly is the best.
I've been in this office to see Dr. Frisancho twice. Scheduling was a nightmare, since they do not answer the phone. The first visit took 3 hours, the second visit took 2 (including wait time). The doctor was pleasant, but after everything I went through to see him, I was disappointed there was basically nothing he could do for me but increase a medication I was already on to help with the pain. He rightfully refused to consider operating since I'm outside recommended weight guidelines.

Unfortunately this has occurred in the Los Angeles office. There, we do what we can to reasonably help a very underserved population. At times the schedule is overbooked, there is a wait for completing x-rays, patients and their complex medical concerns require more attention and time, and subsequently the schedule runs behind. I and management are aware of this and we are addressing this challenge with our current resources.
I was told I needed surgery on my ankle. I went to Dr Juan and he recommended physical therapy instead which avoids the long recovery from surgery. So glad I got a second opinion. Dr Juan is great! I trust him completely.
