Rented an apartment in May of 2021 & we're leasing through May 2023. When we first viewed our apartment it was dirty and not ready for a new tenant. The showing agent Ashley assured us that she would get the place painted and get the cleaners to clean the place. (Cigarette butts under the heaters and behind the toilet, thick gunk caked onto EVERY baseboard, Scuff marks on walls and the ceilings, etc) 2 days later on our move-in, nothing had been done. Jsj is very very unprofessional!! They do not care about you they just want your money...long story short....I showed up to pick up my key on my move in date and they proceeded to tell me the agent that was working with me had been fired, they then left me outside forever before they brought me they key. I arrived at the house to find the door open and had been kicked in, the frame was cracked in half! The maintenance man who was there on arrival was shocked to see us, “you guys are moving in?” Telling us the door fell over ... read more
I had the best experience with keith from jsj property management maintenance. At 3pm on a Saturday he quickly showed up, fixed my furnace, brought space heaters to accommodate during the half hour repair, then even look put my closet doors on track (they have been off the track since I moved in...) overall a 10/10 for keith doing maintenance for jsj!
They do not care about tenants. We moved into a house that hadn't been lived in in years. The house needed lots of repairs and cleaning. We had a written promise with JSJ of all the repairs and cleaning to be done. They seemed happy to do all this. They did nothing off this list. They had 5 months (and no current tenants to deal with) to fix it up before we moved in and did nothing to the house.
