Enough said...great staff, great food, great setting. Iconic Portland....for many years! My brother flies in from Tulsa every year, and this is the first stop...can't go anywhere until a J's visit! Lobster roll and Shipyard!

The Alaskan king crab was over cooked and rubbery. The crab casserole my wife ordered was lacking crab. Although the sauce was tasty. The shrimp cocktail we ordered was ok. Overall for the price we were not impressed and will not be returning.
First time visit. We went for lunch and had about a 30 min wait. Food was delicious!

My first experience yesterday was awesome! The lobster stew is out of this world. Second only to my Dad's recipe! Will definitely come again soon!
Fun atmosphere...My husband and I stopped in to try Oysters for the first time!! The patrons around the bar were so helpful...taught us what to do!! The Oysters were magnificent!! SO FRESH!
