Nice waterfront restaurant. You can tell it's where the locals go (and for good reason)
I got the bakers dozen of oysters to start and my wife got the sautéed mussels. Both were great and are large portions, but we wanted to splurge. The oysters were nice and clean and absolutely delicious. The broth in the mussel dish was fantastic. We soaked it up with all of the rolls provided. We both got lobster rolls for dinner and were very pleased with them. All together with 2 beers it was $80+tip. Very good meal.

Loved it.. first time in Portland, last night I had dinner there and went back for dinner tonight. The lobster is just so delicious I had two last night and two tonight, the lobster roll was delicious and they don't add mayonnaise to it, but you can if you want. Awesome service as well!

Been jonesing for a good seafood fest since I got here, and did that tonight. @ Jay's Oyster, had the Seafood Casserole. Lobster, shrimp, scallops, haddock, and crab, baked in a clarified butter sauce, with lobster stuffing. Lobster was two immense claw pieces, scallops were just right, haddock was great, as was the crab. Shrimp had the tails on. Don't know why all the resturaunts do that. Lobster stuffing was very tasty without being overpowering. Tummeh has a major happy!!!
Great food, a little tight on the inside with the big bar. But worth the wait!
