I had not been to Liberty in many years. Back in the early 1980's my parents use to have a camper near the lake and we'd always stop and pick up some chicken on our weekend stays. Many times my treat was a Pizza Burger from J's. When I recently stopped in, the Pizza Burger was still on the menu. What a great treat. Service was fine and the food was nice and hot. The ice cold Root Beer topped it off.
Such a quaint little old fashion diner/restaurant… With great fast food… And even more wonderful service!! Banana split was awesome...foot-long Coney was delicious!!!
Great southern fried chicken and cherry marshmellow shake .
We are from central Ohio and spent the week at Hueston Woods Lodge. Upon checking we ask the clerk about some good places to eat. Other than the restaurants at the Lodge, they recommended J's in Liberty. So we did. Chicken was GREAT. In fact we ate three meals there. The local people are very lucky to have such a great restaurant in their own home town
It was my first time there and l really liked it. I had a milkshake and it was very good as well.
