I’ve been to this hair salon 3 times. All three times I went I wound up with a haircut that was less than great. The worst was about a month and a half ago I saw Joy - my hair had gotten pretty long. I showed a picture of a shag hair cut I wanted she spent the entire haircut in deep conversation with one of the other stylists and I wound up with a haircut that resembled that of a poodle. Mei Salon is truly one of the best! The salon is always spotless, inviting, and filled with such good energy—you instantly feel at home when you walk in. I’ve been seeing Chika for over 2 years, and she’s absolutely amazing! She takes such great care of my natural hair. I’ve gotten styles like two-strand twists and curly perm rod sets, and every time my hair comes out flawless. The owner, Joyola (aka Joy), is also so welcoming.
