The staff was very friendly and waiting area was comfortable. She prescribed several test and was very thorough.
This is really not a review of dr. Koppang as she is great. There is a huge problem with the office staff that is suppose to be answering the phone number 205-510-5000. It’s either busy, or never answered. Something needs to be addressed as I continue to have a problem getting anyone to answer the phone. If you search their website You can find other numbers. Dr. Koppang is a warm, caring cardiologist that is very thorough with her patients. She nailed my Mother’s diagnosis when other doctors missed it.
Best doctor ever! I trust her with my life, and would trust her with anyone I loved! The best!

I have been seeing Dr. Koppang for a year. She is an excellent physician, taking time to explain everything and to answer questions. Her staff is friendly and courteous; I could almost forget I was at the doctor to see about my heart. I recommend her without reservation.
Dr. Koppang has been my doctor since April 2015 when she helped me through serious condition and was able through excellent skill "restart" my heart so that it has remained in normal sinus rhythm. Further, her attitude toward prescriptions is one I admire. We keep "drugs" to a minimum...only what is necessary. Once the practice moved and I was concerned I would lose her as my physician...she has a "co-partner" with the hospital I would use. Thereby allowing me to remain with this exceptional
