Wow, very surprised at the negative reviews! My experience with this doctor was wonderful. She performed surgery on my youngest daughter when she was just a year old & did an amazing job. She has a lovely outgoing personality & was nothing but professional & compassionate along our journey. My baby girl is now 8 years old & I am grateful to have had such an excellent doctor along with Dr. Oguz Cataltepe (also UMass Worcester) who is also fantastic! Spoken to multiple former patients of McIntyre who have not only terrible results, but live with daily pain from her butchering.
Dr. Joyce McIntyre put me at ease immediately before the surgery. I felt confident right away that she was accomplished, knowledgeable, kind and with a vivacious personality. She removed a large cyst from my neck in an area with important veins and little adipose tissue. She took her time during the surgery and I am completely satisfied with her work.
Zero stars, TOP SURGERY PATIENTS SAVE YOURSELF: Terrible results and a worse attitude/sense of accountability; the hospital (Umass Memorial) will do everything to protect her not you - She mocked me about my body and said “she couldnt make me muscular” and ignored the kind of incisions I asked for (which was the point of showing her inspiration photos).
