He refuses to speak with the family to allow us to ask questions after we have requested it twice. My father is on a ventilator and cannot speak for himself.
My first visit to Dr Todd was what I wanted to find in a cardiologist. Someone who wasn't dismissive. He clarified a lot of things for me and made me feel better that I'm on the right tract to keep my heart healthy.
Saw doctor Todd for a cardiology preventive assessment- (I have a strong family history of cardiovascular issues). His front desk staff were polite and efficient. Nurse completed the EKG within 5 minutes of my arriving in the assessment room. Dr. Todd was personable, highly informed, and recommended the least invasive procedure and explained his reasoning based upon my risk factors and current condition. Was seen and attended to by Dr Todd at Fort Sanders for emergency blood clotting problem. Totally impressed with him as a person and professional. Great bedside manner and willing to discuss issues of concern with me even in impromptu situations. Realistic, lay it on the line, great listener, knowledgeable, takes timely needed action-all these and more describe him. On a scale of 1-10, he rates about a 10 1/2 at least!!!!
When you have something serious happen involving your heart, it is frightening! I believe that Dr. Todd saved my life. After over 5 years he continues to follow up on me. I am so grateful to be able to feel great and lead a normal life! Dr. Todd is an outstanding doctor, with both skill and compassion.
Dr. Todd is AWESOME!!! Very efficient! I would definitely recommend him as a cardiologist. I am so glad he was able to take care of my friend when he had his heart attack!
Dr. Todd is great! He has been treating my son who had a heart attack at a very young age. He is very compassionate and has been awesome in caring for my son. Highly recommend!
His competence, compassion, attentiveness, & depth of knowledge belie a youthful appearance. Does not "settle" for a treatment, but seeks the most effective. Willing to suggest innovative techniques if applied carefully. Excellent sense of risk-vs.-result options. Speaks quickly at times; however, not offended by patient interruptions & questions. Accommodating. Surprisingly well-read on medication advances, expense, & shortcomings.
