I left a comment on here in August of 2014 that I do not see posted here. My experience with Dr.Fox went along the line of his joking and making light of my Mohs surgery which he himself did not perform. I never even met Dr. Fox until I went back in August after having this surgery in July. When I met with Dr. Fox, he also brought in a plastic surgeon who ironically works at this office. I came in to take care of acne and several moles and within a couple of visits everything was taken care of. Dr Fox made me feel comfortable and gave me the time i deserved and explained the procedure and condition clearly to me. He is a good and friendly guy but an even better Dermatologist.
Me and my sister waited about 2 hours, then waited like another 30 minutes once in the room. He kept making comments about my face and made unnecessary jokes. I felt like he wasn't helping me at all when his staff gave me ointment that burned my scalp. They gave me an ointment from what I felt like was their guess about the condition I have. I keep telling him that it's painful and burning but he kept on making jokes. He suddenly looked at my sister and said "Women, they exaggerate pain" I felt completely pissed off.
I had a great experience at this dermatology office which is hard to say about most doctors visits. The doctor was very knowledgeable about how to care for my skin and the staff was great too! Thank you Advanced Dermatology!
Dr. Fox is an amazing doctor that helped my 4 yr old daughter. Unfortunately my child was born with a port wine stain on her face, arms, and neck and Dr. Fox removed her birthmark and made us all very happy. I am thankful for him. My baby was in good hands.
I saw Dr. Fox to follow-up on a skin cancer condition because my previous dermatologist is no longer in my network. I waited over an hour in an overcrowded waiting room to him. In the examination room, Dr. Fox rushed in, told a bunch of jokes, recommended a number of cosmetic procedures which was NOT the purpose of my visit, performed an inadequate examination of my skin and did not bother to look at the area where the skin cancer had occurred. My mother went in to see him about her hairloss. I was in the office with her and so was my father. She showed him the area that she was concerned about and he just said that she imagining things because she had white hair in that area...she had white hair on her temples too and she wasn't losing hair there! She told him again that she never had her hair sparsely grown as it is now and he said "OK, we can do a hair count but I don't think it's necessary." He helped my son with his problem . He suggested use of a laser ( which was not suggested elsewhere). The results were perfect.
