Great food and excellent service. Really enjoyed the signature salad with steak tips. Also the Fireside Red from Geaghan's was excellent. Nachos were delicious too. Only downside was the weird ponytailed hippy looking dude acting strange and complaining about getting exactly what he ordered.
We've tried Joseph's 4 or 5 times and leave disappointed every time. Today was no exception, although we had hoped for improvement. My husband and I went for a rare lunch date and left feeling hungry and overcharged. A steak Caesar salad was $20.00 and there wasn't much steak on it. My chicken was dry and the serving was extremely small. The chowder was room temperature and our water glasses were empty several times, for long periods. Lunch for two, with the tip, was $55. I’ve had a lot of beef pass over my plate. Sometimes it’s over- or under- done, or maybe dry. This sirloin I got tonight was perfect! Cooked evenly on both sides, no fat to be left on the plate, and butter tender. Debby said her salmon was excellent, Bette and Barbara were happy with scallops. The service was attentive without hovering. Jan Franck was correct, this is a good place.
Food & service were excellent! We were at Thomas College for an Open House and stopped in your restaurant on our way home! I look forward to visiting again soon! Ceyenne was our server, she was fantastic!
