Visiting from NY - great place! We wanted a steakhouse near Ft Sam that was authentic and didn't break the bank - Josephine Street was perfect! Loved the historic building and the steak was perfect in every way. I had a delicious ribeye and my husband had a nice sirloin. Wilted house salad a nice accompaniment and the home made chips and salsa were fantastic. I'd dine here regularly if I lived here! The price was reasonable for a great meal in a real Texas atmosphere.

The bacon wrapped fillet was perfect! The ride to the Spurs game was a bonus. We will recommend to anyone!

12 oz. Blackened Ribeye cooked medium to perfection very juicy and tender with broccoli on the side. Cold beer and onion rings. Old and quaint with ambience. Recommend it for a nice steak and beer.
