It was a slow evening so service was fast and relaxed. The food was great (liver & onions). And the prices were very reasonable. Real food at fastfood prices.
Blackened Red Fish is one of my favorite dishes at Jo’s.
Great place to hang out with friends and family. The food is great as well.

We stopped in at this San Antonio landmark on a Saturday evening before a concert downtown. Located conveniently off of the highway, the restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived at 6:30PM, but we were seated quickly after grabbing a beer at the bar. For those who have never visited, it's a pretty cool historic building with a tree in the middle of it. The floors aren't flat, which adds to the character of this historic location.
