Dr Ghavam did my back surgery in 2014. I had the best results from anyone else I know that had back surgery. Had he not left Huntsville Al he would still be my Dr. If I ever needed another surgery I would travel just to have him as my Dr.
Terrible Experience I had an appointment to see Ghavam at 9:30 A.M.. When I arrived the door was locked. I had to pace the hallway until his PA showed up at 9:45. Dr Ghavam finally arrived at 10:05, unapologetically. He looked at my MRI's and said one MRI was unclear. This opinion was different from other doctors' opinions. He asked me to go back to the place where I had the MRI's done and get a new disc with all the images on it and return it to him. Surgery two years ago. I am worse off than before the surgery. I am in pain 24/7. I would not go back to him.

I am very sorry you had such a bad experience. I don't have a PA; I'm not certain who opened the door, where you were seen, etc. There exist MRIs of inferior quality; it is important to have a clear picture before making a diagnosis. Regarding another doctor having had a different opinion on your MRIs: that is quite common. I won't say that I am right and the other doctor is wrong, or the opposite. But, that's part of the reason we often get second opinions.
The same X-rays we’re done that I had at the hospital, Was under the impression an MRI would be done to see if nerves were being compressed but only X-rays were done. Dr Bryant then prescribed a steroid pack and physical therapy for 4 weeks that in the second week is not helping as yet and have just as much pain the next day following the therapy.

Dr. Ghavam spent a lot of time with me clearly explaining in detail my condition and options. I will definitely go back to him if I need additional treatment.
Wonderful and warm experience from start to finish, Dr Ghavam is a great doctor He is understanding and listens to your concerns I especially loved how Dr. Ghavam took his time to explain my conditions to me as well as the treatment options I highly recommend him and the location on Delray.
Dr Ghavam is amazing ! He is so patient, never in a rush, and explains everything and is honest. He is amazingly kind. I had a cervical fusion, and I was so nervous, but his gentle and calm approach on top of his top notch expertise, made me feel safe and that I was in great hands.
