I appreciated him and his nurse, Aimee, just talking to me, making small talk to get a little acquainted. He was very precise in giving me options after reviewing my X-ray so I was able to make an informed decision about my wishes for the treatment plan I wanted to go with.

Surgery two years ago. I am worse off than before the surgery. I am in pain 24/7. I would not go back to him.
I’m recovering from a rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, having also had R. Clark for a total reverse shoulder replacement two years ago, and thing joint surger previous to that. Dr. Clark is a very caring surgeon and is a really cool and nice doctor. He has given me specific exercises to do to recover from the surgeries instead of having me go in for therapy which was a good thing. He said that since I’m a pianist that I could do exercises at home and continue teaching and playing the piano!
Dr. Clark has performed two surgeries for me - removed a mass from a finger and repaired a broken wrist. Outstanding surgeon. He is direct, honest and will take whatever time is necessary to answer your questions. He will also do his best to make sure he is on time and does not waste his patients time. Recommend him for any hand or arm surgery.
Dr. Clark is exceptional! He is highly experienced, did a successful surgery on my hand, I have recovered with full use/ strength. I am now seeing him for my knee. I trust him, highly recommend. His team is awesome!
One year ago my husband was in a serious car crash which resulted in a severed tendon in his left hand. I'm sure there are hand surgeons in Huntsville area that are as medically experienced and proficient as this one but that have a decent bedside manner. Dr. Clark's attitude toward my husband and me was condescending and arrogant. My husband and I value medical experience but we also value compassion and common courtesy!
Did my knee, 95% torn quad with a tear in the meniscus. No problems, completely healed, have full use and extension as well. Riding my Bicycle 30 miles a day.............
Dr Clark operated on my hand and did an excellent job. I have seen him since and am very happy with his work.
