Last night I experienced the absolute worst bedside manner I have ever seen from Dr. Matthew Kramp. He was rude and condescending from the moment he entered the room. He completely dismissed and invalidated all of our concerns and all but accused us of lying. He spoke with an extreme level of disrespect and directed more of his attitude toward the people of color in the room. I have received care at both the UM Hospital in Easton and the UM Hospital at Midway campus in Baltimore over the past year. Both experiences have been exceptional with qualified staff and medical professionals. The UM hospital ER in Easton treated life threatening blood clots through hospitalization & IV blood thinners essentially saving my life. The front desk staff was unhelpful. Insisted I must see a provider who was no longer active with my insurance and wouldn’t listen when told otherwise. They stated they didn’t get my referral when I have a fax transaction report showing they did. I was told my doctor must send the referral directly when that’s not how my insurance has worked in the 18 years I have had them. I also did not have this issue when I was seen 1 year ago. From being told misinformation, incorrect prior authorization forms filled out and sent to unprofessional phone calls, this is the worst primary care I have ever been to. Save yourself the trouble and headache and go somewhere where people know how to do their jobs correctly and professionally!
Don’t be fooled by “emergency” in the title. Nothing urgent in how this place functions. This is nothing more than a clinic.
I submitted a request that was time sensitive to Dr Stewart on 4/1/25. I followed up again via My Chart on 4/5/25. I also called the office on 4/5/25. The staff person Salina stated that she would give the message to his nurse. Today is 4/9/25, still no response in My Chart on a phone call. The request is time sensitive. Why use My Chart and no one responds.

The staff in the ER is incredibly unprofessional. Food being delivered with all the smells, making people even more sick!! Unbelievably loud, laughing and joking, talking extremely loud all the whole people suffering. Really gone down hill, never again
