I've had GI problems ever since they were invented, and I've been seeing Dr. Nelson for many years. He may run a little late from time to time because he always spends as much time as needed with his patients - never in a rush to move you along. Dr. Nelson is very personable and always provides understandable explanations when going over procedure results and such... if only Lewis Gale could clone him.

This was the best experience I have had with any doctor. He listened, he cared, he heard me, and he offered to help solve the issues that many other doctors dismissed! So grateful!
Had a consult with Dr. Nelson today. He took time to thoroughly review the results of my previous labs and tests. We discussed other health issues and he showed compassion and interest in my overall health. He is very thorough and I left his office knowing he was the best doctor for my health issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Nelson. Today was a very good day. Thank you Dr. Nelson. And his nurse was awesome!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson's since 1987. He is my favorite doctor, and I have a great deal of respect for, and trust in, him. He always takes the time needed to explain your situation, offer treatment plans, and he listens to your questions and concerns. You never feel like he's rushing to get to his next patient. His bedside manner is awesome, and he is genuinely concerned about you and your health. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson.
He is the best doctor I have ever seen!
My family and I have been patients of Dr. Nelson for many years and have a great deal of respect for his professional and personal qualities. Following a recent illness I requested my GP to make an appointment with Dr. Nelson for evaluation. He is continuing to provide support and medical advice to assist me in regaining my health, and I appreciate it.
Joe is a great diagnostician that takes the necessary time with his patients.
