His staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Hanrahan is thorough and explains things well. He recommends courses of treatment without "selling" them. He understands budget constraints. Thorough, gentle, helpful.
I was impressed by how much time he took to talk through everything with me and that he took account of my views in deciding how much work to do. I felt he knew what he was doing and that I could trust him. I have only had minor work done so far, but it is certainly successful. This was building up a back tooth. Another dentist had said it should be capped. Dr Hanrahan made the same suggestion, but as I had no insurance for this we discussed this and it was my choice to settle for a large filling instead. Very professional and helpful. Had several fillings done - doctor and assistant explained everything. Treatment and cleanings always pleasant. Can't say much about the cost - I have excellent dental coverage so my costs are usally zero balance. Staff is very thorough with billing, scheduling, etc. Highly recommended.
Nice staff, good overall experience. Understanding of last minute schedule changes. Doesn't recommend frivolous procedures, thorough and professional.
Dr. Hanrahan is our family dentist. He is very conscientious and careful. He always explains procedures and his recommendations in detail.
