Dr. Jamal operated on my Mother (Bette) in October. I am glad to say she has made a full recovery from Kidney cancer. Dr. Jamal is a great communicator and surgeon and walked us through every step of the surgery and showed both care and compassion for my mother. I highly recommend Dr. Jamal, first class all the way.
He is the Best hands down!! He is caring and very understanding and when you leave his office you feel like you just left your best friend and you are in good hands. He explains every option and suggests the one BEST for the patient. I cant say enough good things about him because he saved my husband life and put up with me his crazy wife all the while having his hand on my shoulder telling me its gonna be ok!! and it is!! HE IS WORTH THE WAIT!!
I had a unexpected kidney issue. Not knowing who to go to. My PCP sent me to Advance Urology Group, after a few test I was told I needed surgery. I was then sent me to Dr. Jamal. He immediately put me at ease. He explained to me in detail, what he was going to do and what I could expect. The follow up visit were same. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Jamal is one of the finest specialists I've been to. From the day we met him, I had nothing but faith and trust in his decisions. He is up front and honest about your procedure..Very confident, with his procedures.. I had kidney cancer and he told me that there was a chance of losing the kidney, but also a chance at saving it too, which he did. He is a true professional and takes pride in his work. Highly recommended,
The robotic prostatectomy performed by Dr Jamal went extremely well using the da Vinci system. Dr Jamal was very capable, very confident. He explained everything to me pre-op and I went into the surgery with good confidence. The outcome has been very good.
Personable, competent and quite experienced in what he does-robotic assisted radical prostatectomy. Despite having a fairly major surgical procedure, I can honestly say there was very little pain or discomfort in the days & weeks after the procedure. The only rating (below) that was less than excellent (very good) referred to ease of scheduling appointments, and is not reflective of difficulty, but rather the volume of patients and procedures-a reflection I feel of his competence and experience.
Was referred to Dr. Joseph Jamal when I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. He explained to my wife and I all the options available to us. When we decided to go with surgery, he explained the procedure with all the possible good and bad. Date was set thru his attentive staff. They walked me thru all my medical clearances. Dr. Jamal performed laparoscopic prostate removal. I was home by the next evening walking around looking forward to getting on with my life. I would Highly recommend Dr Jamal
He is the least professional Dr I've ever went to He overlooks so bad you have at least 1.5 hour wait It takes him 3 or more days to get back to you He says you may need surgery when you don't I would be very cautious seeking his opinion
