I came in for a repeat hip injury I had seen his PA previously and loved him but didn’t care for the Dr himself he seemed rushed didn’t seem to listen didn’t feel it was a great level of care
Dr. Novotny was my & my husband’s doctor. We were both very pleased with him. He is kind, caring & compassionate. He is an excellent surgeon.
Dr. Novotny took over my surgery and did a great job. He and the therapy got me back on my feet. Even though my healing process was different than others, he saw me quickly for any issues I had during recovery. I highly recommend this doctor!
Seems uninterested in spending time listening to patients, eager to jump to quick conclusion and move on. He may be a skilled surgeon but there are many of those in the area. Pick one that truly has an interest and cares about patients.

Does not spend much time with you. Seemed like he was in a hurry, in and out of exam room very quickly. No discussion of procedure at all. Take a list of questions with you or he'll get away with them unanswered.
