This provider would not listen to our concerns of my mother going into congestive heart failure . He stated this was above my pay grade and became very irate after I told him all of my concerns. I then took my mother to the emergency room, where in fact she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Admitted to the hospital for seven days and had to have a cardioversion done. So needless to say when a nurse tells you her concerns for her own mother it would’ve been nice if he would listen instead of getting offended
He had me so furious my last visit in Dec. I have had open heart surgery a pacemaker implant up having a major stroke 97% of my brain was affected and I had to have another heart surgery because my mitral valve was so clotted with blood clots I almost died! That wasn't his fault that was my past cardiologist fault so I'm new to Dr Ash do not care for him he is not a people person he doesn't like women or something. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Asch has been my cardiologist for many years. He takes the time to listen and explain. He's thorough and when you are a patient of his you know you are in expert hands. I had to be cardioverted at Parrish Hospital by a doctor before I had Dr. Asch. This other doctor said he didn't know what was wrong. My friend told me about Dr. Asch and when I went to him he spent a lot of time easing my fear and he put me on the right medication. If you want a good, caring cardiologist, look no further!
Showed up in the ICU for congestive heart failure and I've been having an ongoing issue with fluid build-up at a rapid rate. Dr. Asch spoke in absolutes that it was not my heart and could not possibly be my heart. This left all the other specialists baffled because it was by all indications my heart, towards the end of my stay his story changed and he accused my family of lying along with the other hospital physicians.
