Dr. Joseph Abboud is an amazing surgeon & has an awesome bedside manner. I had a fear of surgery & anesthesia most of my life until he became my surgeon. Dr Abboud literally mended my rotator cuff together. He answered my call at 3AM when the nerve blocker wore off. He immediately called the pharmacy to get my pain level manageable. He had the same energy for all my post-op appointments. I can now raise my arm better than I did before my injury. I'm so thankful & appreciative of Dr Abboud for savng my shoulder. 🙏🏾
Definitely top Doc for shoulder problems. My wife and I both had rotator repaired and we have no issues. Ohh and his staff is top notch also. Great experience all around. Highly recommended Dr, Aboudd

Contacted Rothman Institute to schedule appointment with Joseph Abboud to review a 6-month old shoulder surgery at Penn. First, expect to wait 10 minutes on hold, at the very least. When trying to leave my phone number for a call-back, it did not work. Next, I was told I had to fax my records to a provided number and wait for a return call.
