I’m very pleased with my care from Dr. Rixen and his team. He performed a DMEK procedure on my right eye (cornea transplant) and while the first day or so was a little scary due to high pressure in that eye, my recovery has been pretty remarkable. I’m 2 weeks post-op and seeing good results so far. He has answered every question I’ve had and calmed any fear I’ve had. He took my stitch out today and showed me how small it is. One can only appreciate the precision and expertise it takes! I would recommend him to anyone.
WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SEE JORDAN RIXEN THE WORST! DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE MADE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE, SPECIALLY RIXEN WHO DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE HIS TITLE. They will make your surgery fail for sure in order to make you go back to them and they still won't have a solution. Waste of time, money and YOUR HEALTH. Outstanding care from check in to discharge. The staff is very friendly and caring. RN Jenni was great!! She explained every part of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Anesthesiologists Matt and Hillary explained the process of numbing my eyes and made a great cocktail as well lol. Dr. Rixen recently did my cataracts, and the result was more than I could have hoped for! My vision is now 20/20 in both eyes. The surgery was quick, smooth and pain-free. His support staff was very caring and professional and made me feel like I was the only patient they had to deal with. Highly recommended!
