25 YEARS My husband and I were away on vacation and had a friend come to our house to check on our dogs and my husbands mom a couple of times a day. Yes He's a great vet! I met Dr Joo after the vet I had used for several years turned my dog down in an emergency. I showed up at the office without an appointment and they found time for him and saved his life. Since then i have fallen in love with the place and all three of my dogs, and two cats are patients there. He is the most compassionate vet and the prices are more then reasonable.
Cottman Animal Hospital I have been going to Dr Joo since 2002, he is a wonderful vet, who takes the time to explain and listen to your concerns. He is very reasonable. I have a Husky that was having seizures, the visit, extensive blood work and meds for a month were only $150.
I love them so much, I HAD to write a review I was recommended Dr. Joo by some employees at petsmart. They told me he was great and resonably priced. I called in with a concern and they squeezed me in the next day! My cat sat contently and Dr. Joo assesed, and groomed her. She didn't seem afraid by the stranger handling her at all. She won't even sit that patiently for me! I knew she needed meds, and was afraid of how much it would cost me. For the 10 pills she needed, it cost me all of $3.00! Cottman Animal Hospital is The Best of Them All Dr. Joo is amazing! I have been taking my 3 cats to see him for the past 6 years. He is so gentle and loving. My one cat LOVES him and will purr as soon as she sees him. I was thrilled to see Dr. Joo cuddling her and kissing her on her last visit. My one other cat is very fearful of strangers and Dr. Joo always is very patient with her and is calm and reassuring. My third cat is very particular about who she likes. We love them! We took our rescue dog to Dr. Joo for 14 years. Dr. Joo and his staff were very supportive of us throughout his illnesses - my dog had cataracts, diabetes, and arthritis, and Dr. Joo helped us with everything. We were always greeted with a smile, the staff was very knowledgeable, and my dog always felt welcome there. I would highly recommend them! They are an amazing vet team!

He is definitely efficient and precise when it comes to animals.... Dr. Joo and his staff are very knowledgable and are very professional. My questions are always answered. My pet's appointment run on time, and he has squeezed me in whenever my pet had a problem. I would highly recommend the Cottman Animal Hospital. It is always a pleasant experience. My animals don't seem to mind either.
dr joo is a sweetheart i took my beautiful 9 week old puppy in for shots and an exam and it turned out she needed some meds ... i didnt think she would have needed anything so i didnt hav enough money with me ... dr.Joo said i could bring it back to him on my next appt i mean it was only a 7 dollar difference but he didnt have to do that.. he was very gentle with my shelby and made her feel at ease.
