"FYI, you have cataracts" - Actual quote My frustration with my eyesight is very high, and trying to find a solution, I was left feeling like an inconvenience. After three attempts, I was sent to friend, Vance Thompson Vision. I left his office in tears after being accused of not having annual eye exams, and fraud. I just want to be able to see, and I need help.

Laura we feel we have done everything we can to get you seeing your best. We have not received notes yet from Vance Thompson Vision as your visit with them was just yesterday. It is unfortunate that it sounds like you did not qualify to have cataract surgery done yet. Sadly as we get older our vision can change and start to be affected by cataracts. They were so great- it's so nice to have an optometrist in Hartford. The service was wonderful start to finish. They gave me a trial pair of contacts to get me through until I could be seen, the exam was easy and the assistant knew the insurance policy well and was really helpful. They're great to have here!
