I have a pair of $650 eyeglasses that were cut wrong I have it in writing from another optician who checked them. When they didn't work I took them back they supposedly sent them in, no change. Dr Allison said it is a larger lens that my eyes could not adjust to. Is just a bummer--this is a professional person talking! My first experience with contacts ever for myself and they are uncomfortable. I wanted my prescription to order my own but they make it to where you can only order the brand they sell. I would recommend making the trip to sioux falls. My son has been going to family vision for years and I have absolutely no complaints regarding them.

Amanda our doctor offered to fit you into another brand of contacts after your first trial given. Our doctors always want you to trial the contact lenses until we find a brand that is comfortable for you and fits your eyes properly. Some times the first trial given is not the ideal fit. Per state optometric laws contact lenses are deemed medical devices and each brand has different fitting parameters and is not a one size fits all approach.
