I started seeing Dr. MacClements when I moved to Austin because I needed a new PCP that was near the downtown area. Let me start by saying that his office staff is superb! His nurse is so attentive and caring and the front desk staff always have smiles on their faces when I come in. Dr. MacClements is amazing! He made me feel comfortable during my visit and I felt that he truly listened to my concerns. He also included me in my treatment options, which is not even heard of these days!
Dr. Macclements wrote the bloodwork labs incorrectly, and then refused to see me again. He billed me a copay, even though I made it very clear more than once that this was a wellness/preventative visit. I have spent h o u r s in person and on the phone with various staff members at his office who take notes and then lose them, putting me at square one every time. If the copay was higher I would take legal action. Feeling taken advantage of and manipulated. I will delete this post if resolved.
