I have been a patient of Dr. Bier since 2000 he has been wonderful and very attentive to my problems and complaints always he gets a big thumbs up from me.
Their office smelt so strongly of perfume and cologne that it triggered my asthma. The provider knew nothing about diagnosing or treating POTS. Blood pressure cuff was sliding off of my arm when he was attempting to take my blood pressure. My high blood pressure was ignored completely due to my age. No referrals. No meds. No help. Tried dismissing my POTS because I don't faint when only 30% of POTS patients faint. HARMFUL lack of knowledge for a condition that has exploded after COVID.
My elderly father was not feeling well and is currently under a cardiologist care at Hawthorn Medical in Dartmouth, MA. Unfortunately, his symptoms were concerning to me and it happened to be on Christmas. Dr. Bier was the on call doctor and when he called me back he was obviously annoyed that I had contacted him. He did not even allow me to explain my concerns and immediately began to tell me I should have called his Primary not him. He would not let me get in a word.
