The thing about Jon & Vinny's is that every item on the menu is delicious and clearly prepared with tremendous care and heart. The price point also makes sense! Los Angeles needs mor J&V!
It'sgot its own custom-curated wine boutique. The booths are sleek plywood. And the food is newfangled Italian, like thin-crust pizzas (even flower-topped ones) and pistachio cannoli.
Pizzas and pasta are great
We really enjoyed our first meal here. Went back and the hostess refused to give us any estimate of wait time. "Will it be 20 minutes or 2 hours?" "Could be!" Needless to say, we left.
Everything we had was delicious. Beware, they don't time dishes at all but rather plop them on the table@in quick succession. Not a huge deal but it does make the meal feel rushed.
The bruschetta was amazing, found the cacio de pepe fantastic.
Make sure you get a cannoli for dessert!
