After finding out I had muscle invasive bladder cancer he was extremely rude and unprofessional, and said things that should never be said to someone who just finds out they have cancer. Luckily I found an amazing urologist in Denver who is so kind and much more experienced! I am now thankfully cancer free.
This man can not be trusted. He cares nothing about the patient and lied to me. He ordered unnecessary tests and then they "lost" the results. Twice. Totally incompetent and rude staff.
I had prostrate cancer. Dr. Derksen could not have been more knowledgeable, compassionate and decisive. The staff excels too. They treat you with respect and aren’t overly familiar with you. No presumptive first name addressing of you. Office runs smooth, efficient and on time.
He not only conveyed necessary information, I felt that he actually cared about my situation. I'd work w/him again in a heartbeat!

Dr. Derksen has a vast, up to date knowledge of urological issues. He puts patient care first ! He spent a lot of time reviewing and explaining procedures. We would highly recommend him.
Very friendly and helpful staff, office was clean and inviting. Dr. Derksen was excellent, answered all of my questions, exceeded the appointment expectations.
