The people are friendly, careful and thorough.
Dr. Derksen is a newer doctor for me, following the retirement of my long time urologist. He has years of experience. I have been impressed by his knowledge and his ability to relate to me and my needs. I continue to be impressed with him. You will be, too.
Dr D provided me excellent analysis of my post-cancer bloodwork and the need to make adjustments and take immediate action in one area. I'm fully confident of his expert way foward.
This was a follow up visit for my enlarged prostate, diagnosed in 2024.With his diagnosis and treatment, I was able to get my enlarged prostate reduced in size to normal levels.
Due to my schedule, a telehealth appointment with Dr Derksen worked best. The appointment was very easy, I received a text asking me to join the appointment. I clicked on that and everything else was really easy. He took the time to explain lab results and to answer any questions that I had. This is an option I will possibly use in the future if my schedule will not allow for an in-person appointment.

As new year ressolution I will attempt to wright review of Dr. Derksen that does him justice. Bottom line up front [BLUF] Dr Derksen is no doubt in top five urologist in word.I feel that I am justified in making this assessment because I am the designated lead to pioneer a repeatable path to cure metastasis prostate cancer. After finding out I had muscle invasive bladder cancer he was extremely rude and unprofessional, and said things that should never be said to someone who just finds out they have cancer. Luckily I found an amazing urologist in Denver who is so kind and much more experienced! I am now thankfully cancer free.
