You don't have to be inside at JoJo to absorb the jazz scene. The house band performs with its back to the big front window of this small bar and restaurant, so passersby on the street can enjoy the music without entering. But there are lots of good reasons to go inside, including a friendly staff and often stellar music. There's live jazz from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. every night except Mondays and Fridays. Thursdays are particularly promising, with the Thad Wilson group holding down a regular slot-no cover.

Great jazz quartet playing on Wednesday night. Kitchen served big portions of a unique take on New Orleans cuisine.
Restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is tasty. The live jazz performance was amazing. If more than two people, I suggest you make reservations if you want to see the live performances on the 1st floor. I was solo, so I just sat at the bar. Everyone was friendly. I’ll be back!
We were here for a birthday celebration. Music and vibes were great. Its very tight so get there early. Would definently come again. Great for date night, but loud when band is playing.
I ordered the steak with the mushroom sauce and side of mash 10/10. The drinks are also very solid!
