You don't have to be inside at JoJo to absorb the jazz scene. The house band performs with its back to the big front window of this small bar and restaurant, so passersby on the street can enjoy the music without entering. But there are lots of good reasons to go inside, including a friendly staff and often stellar music. There's live jazz from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. every night except Mondays and Fridays. Thursdays are particularly promising, with the Thad Wilson group holding down a regular slot-no cover.

Best salmon served in any restaurant. The music and ambiance was incredible. The staff was very kind, courteous and professional
Went there last night for drinks. The bartender was very rude. We had ordered drinks and because it took us some time to order the second round, he asked us to leave cause we were occupying space. I think there are nicer ways to nudge people to order or let them know there is waiting. It was a date night and pretty much ruined our evening
Make sure you make a reservation! We ended up dining upstairs at the bar because we did not have a reservation. The food was excellent and the jazz band performing was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and sit downstairs and listen to some beautiful jazz music while eating some delicious food!
Got food poisoning from the dinner unfortunately. Otherwise, it’s a good place to see jazz and blues.
Great place, vibe and jazz, but hire someone who can actually mix proper cocktails
