You don't have to be inside at JoJo to absorb the jazz scene. The house band performs with its back to the big front window of this small bar and restaurant, so passersby on the street can enjoy the music without entering. But there are lots of good reasons to go inside, including a friendly staff and often stellar music. There's live jazz from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. every night except Mondays and Fridays. Thursdays are particularly promising, with the Thad Wilson group holding down a regular slot-no cover.

The food and service was outstanding. I would definitely go back again.
Food and drinks are good. Music is the reason you go there. Place is tiny and intimate; But because of that they have a 2hr limit per table, which I get. However, after 90 minutes the server dropped off the check and informed us that "our time is up"- not the 2 hours. And this is while the band is taking a 30 minute break. The intimate swanky cavern vibe is wonderful for a relaxed break over drinks and live jazz!
Great music and food but is very small seating is very limited
The food was delicious, however, I was greatly disappointed that my pasta which cost almost $30 had only 3 shrimp. That seems very odd to me and would've liked the option presented to get more, as a first-time diner. I understand that food is very expensive but I think I could have at least gotten 5 or 4 at the least. Thank goodness I really enjoyed the flavor.
