Dr Johnston was the first doctor to actually listen to me and offer treatments for issues I was suffering with for over 15 years and other neurologists just dismissed me. She is so gentle with injections and I wouldn’t trust anyone else in LA to treat me. My pain is gone now thanks to her!

Dr Johnston is the best she feels like a friend who is the world expert in migraine and neck pain. She did injections on me that stopped my pain for months at a time and it’s a simple repeated procedure and she’s always there for me
She is the best neurologist in LA. She even gave me her contact info as I had a hard time with her staff giving her my messages so she treated me like a VIP patient - little did she know I’m actually a donor to UCLA and she treated me like one even tho she had no idea I was one because my last name is different. She is an angel and I’ll forever be indebted.
I couldn’t be more grateful to Dr. Johnston for alleviating my pain. She is such a caring and innovative doctor. I wish more doctors took patient care as seriously as she does.

listened to me, taken my experience with different treatments into consideration, made me feel respected and (most importantly) has been the only neurologist to provide me with rescue and preventative medications that actually work. Her office staff are amazing— they respond to requests quickly and are a huge part of why I stay with this office even after having moved out of the area!
